Our History

New Rochelle United Methodist Church is a born of two previous existing congregations, St Luke's United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church both of New Rochelle. During the 211th session of the New York Annual Conference they officially became one congregation in accordance with the provisions of the United Methodist Book of Discipline and the laws of New York State. The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disicples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. As we proclaim the gospel, we welcome all of God's children respecting race, ethnicity, gender, and capabilities, and pray we can equip you with the tools to go out into the world to create more disciples for Christ!
