COVID -19 Guidelines and Attendance

At this time New Rochelle United Methodist Church is a Mask Optional Facility

Starting 10/16/22, each person will be able to decide about their own risk and whether to wear a mask while in the sanctuary.

In order to limit infections with the optional mask policy, we ask you to do the following:

1. If you are sick with a cough, muscle aches, fatigue, or other symptoms, please worship with us on Facebook or Zoom.

2. If you have been exposed to or live with someone who currently has Covid-19, please test yourself.

3. If you test positive for Covid-19, please do not come to church until you are off isolation and have a negative test.

4. Please call or text Pastor Hicks if you test positive for Covid-19 within 2 days of attending an NRUMC event. Your test result will be kept in the strictest confidence. This will enable the office to notify anyone who may be a close contact and to monitor for a possible outbreak without identifying the affected person(s).

Signing in on Sunday Mornings is still required. Pastor Hicks will monitor how well this shift in policy goes, as well as the local trends in positive cases and hospitalizations.
